Diseased mesothelioma cells in lungsrelease SMRPs (soluble mesothelin related proteins). These days, doctors aretesting it with the help of Mesomark assay. It is capable of measuring thelevel of SMRPs. In this way, mesothelioma can be detected before it actuallyshows its symptoms. This increases the chances of a patient to survive.
